God delivered me from decades of sexual addiction, substance abuse, and a false identity. The miracle was instant; the journey that follows is not. It is messy, uncomfortable, and very necessary.
This isn't "5 Steps to Freedom" or "How I Overcame Addiction and So Can You." I’m not going to tell you to just pray more, try harder, or get your act together. That’s the lie that keeps you trapped. The good news is that this freedom is available to ANYONE who will accept it.

A Life Built on Performance
I Grew up in Church. If the doors were open, I was there. I believed in God, but He was never "real" to me. I struggled with my sexual identity and felt that my parents love was conditional, that acceptance came from doing the right things, saying the right words, and looking the part. Church became a stage. Faith became a checklist.
Living a false Identity
I chose to embrace what felt “authentic” over the hypocrisy I saw in church. I left home at 17 and never looed back. For three decades, the mask stayed on. I built an impressive life on the outside. Be careful how you build. A life held together by secrets and shortcuts is just a house of cards waiting for a draft. The exhaustion was real, but admitting it felt like failure.
Grace That Didn't Make Sense
In the wreckage, something unexpected happened. Not a revival service. Not a 12-step program. A raw, undeserved encounter with a God who wasn’t waiting for the performance to resume. He was already there in the mess, and His love changed me forever. I was instantly delivered from an addiction I had battled since I was very young. Set free. I was given a new heart and a new vision.
The Reconstruction
The miracle was a moment; the journey is a lifetime. I am currently in the thick of the unlearning. Stripping away the old lies to make room for new truths. This space exists because I don’t have it figured out; I’m just walking it out in real time. These aren’t lessons from a mountain top; they are dispatches from the road as I learn what it means to be truly new, not just slightly improved.
